The government’s goal is to take economic growth to 4 pct in 2017, which will prove that Serbia is becoming a successful country, Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said Wednesday.
This could happen within the next 12 months, Vucic said at the opening of a new Hemofarm plant in Vrsac, northeastern Serbia.
Four-percent growth will mean that people will have higher salaries and pensions, in the public and the private sector alike, Vucic said.
“If we have 4 percent, that will be a proof that we are becoming a successful country,” Vucic noted, adding that this was crucial for Serbia.
