At the initiative of the representatives of the textile industry from Cacak, a meeting was held in the organization of the local self-government on the topic of starting a textile study program at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Cacak.
The meeting discussed the successful implementation of the model of dual secondary vocational education for the needs of the fashion and textile industry, as well as the need to apply this model to higher education, especially bearing in mind that the Law on Dual Model of Higher Education Studies was adopted last year.
– By launching an appropriate textile study program at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Cacak, the needs for professionally trained staff, graduate engineers, would be met, not only for fashion and textile companies from Cacak, but also for everyone from the Moravica, Raska and Sumadija administrative districts – it is stated on the city site, eKapija reports.
