Serbia, Russia should boost commodity exchange

Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic talked yesterday with Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Titov about the possibilities to boost the cooperation between their countries.

Dacic stressed the need to increase the commodity exchange between Serbia and Russia, which last year stood at $2.5 billion, while before the economic crisis it amounted to $4 billion.

The meeting also looked at assistance aimed at reducing the budget deficit and possibilities for Russian investment in Serbia.

The Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the official invitation to Prime Minister Dacic to attend the beginning of works on the South Stream gas pipeline.
