A rich tourist program from Serbia is being prepared for Expo 2020 Dubai

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce has invited interested businessmen to apply for participation in the 5th thematic week of the World Expo 2020 Dubai exhibition dedicated to tourism by November 28.
Thematic week “Travel and Connectivity” lasts from 7 to 15 January, and the invitation is intended for all companies in the field of travel, accommodation, hospitality, service activities in the field of entertainment, events, festivals, culture, sports, congress tourism, exhibition spaces, as well as all modes of transport of people and goods.
– In the week that promotes travel and the tourism industry, we expect the signing of several official protocols between the institutions of Serbia and the UAE, which should improve economic and investment cooperation, but also open new business opportunities. Through the presentation of Vinča culture, Serbian greats Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin, as well as great athletes, visitors to the exhibition get to know Serbia as a modern, attractive and contemporary destination with exceptional natural resources, geographical location, tradition of quality festivals, rich nightlife and cult of good hosts. During the month and a half of the exhibition, the pavilion was visited by over 255,000 visitors, which is an excellent indicator of the attractiveness of the pavilion itself and the organized contents – points out Tijana Maljković, secretary of the Tourism Association of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
The Serbian business delegation will include representatives of receptive tourism, hotels from all over Serbia, travel agencies dealing with outbound travel, representatives of congress and event tourism, nautical economy, but also companies that have patented new software and platforms that are exported to HOREKA industry.
The Tourist Organization of Serbia is preparing a rich promotional program and after their presentation, a business meeting of our business representatives will be jointly organized with large tour operators from the Emirates, but also from distant overseas markets. Through the promotion of tourism and culture, Serbia can attract an increasing number of investors, visitors, congresses, as well as a large number of sports and cultural events that bring great profits to the economy and the state, adds Maljković.

Under the slogan ‘Connecting minds, creating the future’ in the fifth thematic week, the tourism industry is expected to show its energy of revival and expansion through new technologies, a new way of traveling and connecting after the Covid pandemic 19.
Participation in the World Exhibition is provided to Serbian businessmen with preferential conditions, which include a free air ticket (charter flight Belgrade-Dubai-Belgrade), free local transfers, accommodation at discounted prices in selected hotels, as well as free use of the Hub of Serbia in the Dubai South free zone, Srbija Danas reports.
