Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Policy Jovan Krkobabic announced that the Ministry will seek about RSD 7 billion to be directed by the budget revision to pensioners, women in labour and children’s welfare.
Krkobabic said in a statement to Radio Television Serbia (RTS) that RSD 7.4 billion will be required, of which RSD 4 billion for immediate assistance to pensioners, noting that there are approximately 517,000 of them.

He noted that the ministry seeks additional RSD 250 million to support women in labour.

One of the important factors is the higher standard, a higher level of youth employment that will guarantee them long-term possibility to provide for their family, said Krkobabic.
