Agricultural products last year were 20.8% more expensive than in 2020

The prices of agricultural products and fisheries in Serbia last year, compared to 2020, were on average 20.8% higher, the Republic Bureau of Statistics announced. The greatest impact on price growth was recorded in the groups: Fruits (50.3%), Industrial plants (46.1%) and Cereals (26.8%).

Prices of agricultural and fishery products in December 2021, compared to the same month in 2020, increased by 29.1%.

Observed by main product groups, compared to the same month last year, the greatest impact on price growth was recorded in the groups: Cereals (38.7%), Industrial plants (36.6%) and Livestock and poultry (24.3%), Ekapija writes.
