Both Embraer aircraft leased by Air Serbia under a dry lease, operated by the airline’s own crews, have been in service since May 14.
The Embraer E-195LR registered as YU-ATC, which arrived in Belgrade on April 24, made its first flight for Air Serbia on May 13 with flight JU662 to Podgorica. This aircraft is 10 years old and has a capacity of 118 passengers. It is currently white and not yet painted in Air Serbia’s colors.
The second Embraer E-195LR, registered as YU-ATB, arrived in Belgrade on January 30, 2024, and joined the fleet on October 16 last year after several delays. It has undergone two long maintenance services in Naples—from December 6 to February 1 and from April 4 to May 14. It returned to the fleet today with a flight to Athens and is painted in Air Serbia’s livery.
In addition to its own Embraers, Air Serbia currently operates three E190 aircraft under a wet-lease agreement with Bulgaria Air. The contract foresees a fourth E190 aircraft arriving in June.
