A total of 130 passengers were on Air Serbia’s first flight from Belgrade to Tbilisi, which was warmly welcomed upon its arrival, according to Bojan Aranđelović, Air Serbia’s Senior Manager of Planning and Schedule Optimization. He added that there is strong interest in the new route.

“If this trend continues, we may consider increasing the number of weekly flights in the future,” Aranđelović said.

For now, Air Serbia operates the Belgrade-Tbilisi service three times a week — on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays from Belgrade, and on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Tbilisi.

He stressed that these flights will continue all year round and are not limited to the summer season, which typically runs until the end of October.

Aranđelović also stated that Air Serbia is constantly exploring opportunities to launch new routes and expand its network in the coming months.
