Air Serbia sets new daily passenger record, expands network amid strong demand

Serbia’s national airline, Air Serbia, announced that on August 1st, its busiest day in August, it set a new record by carrying over 21,600 passengers. This milestone highlights the company’s continuous growth and strong passenger trust.

Air Serbia’s CEO, Jirži Marek, stated that 2025 is already the most successful year in the airline’s history, with monthly results exceeding expectations. Popular regional destinations included Tivat and Podgorica, while top Western European routes were Zurich, Paris, Barcelona, Milan, and Rome.

There was also significant demand for long-haul flights to New York and Guangzhou, reflecting strong interest in these routes.

This achievement confirms Air Serbia’s successful strategy of expanding its flight network and destinations. The airline remains committed to connecting Serbia to the world quickly, comfortably, and reliably, while continuing to improve services and expand capacity to meet growing passenger demand and global aviation trends.
