Air Serbia welcomes new Embraer E-195 aircraft to its fleet

Air Serbia has welcomed a new Embraer E-195 aircraft at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The aircraft, which was manufactured in 2014, is registered as YU-ATC and features a configuration with 118 seats.

This new Embraer is the second of its kind in the national airline’s fleet, which now consists of 29 aircraft, including four Airbus A330-200s, three A320-200s, ten A319-100s, two Embraer E-195s, and ten ATR 72-600s.

After completing all necessary procedures, the aircraft will be put into service and will operate on European routes.

The new aircraft is equipped with General Electric engines, providing a thrust of 82.29 kN. It has a wingspan of 28.72 meters, a length of 38.67 meters, and can fly at altitudes of up to 41,000 feet.

“Since the beginning of 2022, our fleet has been strengthened with 18 new aircraft, marking a significant step in improving operational efficiency and capacity. These newer, more modern aircraft enable us to expand operations and further improve connectivity between Belgrade and destinations across Europe. With the arrival of this new Embraer, we will offer our passengers an enhanced level of comfort and convenience during their travels,” said Jirži Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
