Allocation of subsidies for employment of persons with disabilities

Today, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans’ Affairs and Social Affairs announced a public call for the allocation of funds for the improvement of working conditions in companies for professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities in 2022.

Funds in the amount of 60 million dinars are allocated to companies to support the development of competitiveness by reimbursing costs directly related to the company’s activities and approved programs for the implementation of measures and activities of professional rehabilitation.

All companies for professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities are enabled to participate in the competition, regardless of whether they perform production or service activities within their business.

“Assigning a means under this public call to reduce the costs of persons with disabilities, and basic criteria for funds are paid, supplied, extra, office supplies and paid subscriptions for digital tools / licenses, depending on the company’s activity, achieved business results and the number of persons with disabilities who are employed in these companies “, it is stated in the announcement of the Ministry of Labor.

There are 63 companies operating in Serbia for professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities. They operate on a market basis and employ more than 50 percent of people with disabilities in relation to the total number of employees, Biznis reports.
