Electric Power Industry of Serbia has announced a tender for consultants for the construction of a plant for desulphurization of flue gases and wastewater treatment of the Kostolac A thermal power plant.
As stated in the technical specification of the tender, the project refers to the environmental reconstruction of both blocks of the thermal power plant.
The tender expires on January 31.
It should be reminded that the previous desulphurization plant was built in TPP Kostolac B, and the Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovović stated last spring that in one block the emission of sulfur dioxide was reduced 115 times, and in the other about 40 times.
