Aunde expands in Leskovac, employing nearly 600 workers and strengthening local industry

Italian company Aunde in Leskovac currently employs 587 workers, nearly half of whom are former employees of the now-closed Jeansi factory. Starting with just 40 workers, Aunde rapidly expanded, prioritizing the hiring of experienced industry workers to accelerate plant development.

The general director for Serbia, Anino de Venezia, stated that production is stable and successful, praising the strong cooperation with local authorities. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high work quality to stay competitive and remain in Serbia long-term.

Originally planning to employ 350 people, the company has nearly doubled that number in under two years. Leskovac’s mayor, Goran Cvetanović, highlighted the city’s favorable business environment, recently validated by a BFC certificate. Aunde is recognized as a leading supplier in the automotive industry.
