Average Gross Salary up 6% in Serbia

The Serbian Statistical Office stated today that the average gross salaries and wages paid in June 2013 in Serbia amounted to RSD 61,399 (approx. 540 euros). Compared to the average gross salaries and wages paid in May 2013, this was an increase of 6.0% in nominal terms and 5.0% increase in real terms.

The average net salaries and wages paid in June 2013 in Serbia totalled RSD 44,394 (approx 390 euros). Compared to the average net salaries and wages paid in May 2013, this was a 6.2% increase in nominal terms and a 5.1% increase in real terms.

The average gross salaries and wages paid in Serbia in June 2013, compared to the average gross salaries and wages paid in June 2012, were by 4.6% increased in nominal terms and by 4.7% decreased in real terms.

The average net salaries and wages paid in June 2013, compared to the average net salaries and wages paid in June 2012, increased by 4.9% in nominal terms and by 4.5% decreased in real terms.

The average gross salaries and wages paid in the period January – June 2013 in Serbia, compared to the average gross salaries and wages paid in the period January – June 2012, increased by 5.9% in nominal terms and by 4.8% decreased in real terms.

The average net salaries and wages paid in the period January – June 2013 in Serbia, compared to the average net salaries and wages paid in the period January – June 2012, increased by 6.1% increased and by 4.6% decreased in real terms.
