Average pension in Serbia reaches 433 euros after 10.9% increase

After a 10.9% increase in December, the average pension in Serbia is now 50,683 dinars, according to data from the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO). Pensioners are currently receiving the same amount as for December, as January pensions are being paid.

The lowest pension for employees and self-employed beneficiaries is now 27,711.33 dinars, while for agricultural pensioners it is 21,786.02 dinars.

The highest pension, according to the current Law on Pension and Disability Insurance for all beneficiaries, including professional military personnel, after a 10.9% increase, is 255,231.18 dinars for 45 years of service.
