Azerbaijan has officially confirmed its participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade, set to run from May 15 to August 15, 2027, with the theme “Game(s) for Humanity: Sports and Music for All.” This marks the country’s continued engagement with global exhibitions, following successful participations in EXPO 2000 in Hanover, EXPO 2015 in Milan, and EXPO 2017 in Astana, where it won a silver medal for exhibition design.

Azerbaijan is known for its rich cultural heritage, including folk dances such as Nalbaki and Jali, traditional games like Zorkana and Chowgan, and a diverse musical tradition with instruments like the tar, kamancha, and saz. The country also excels in sports, particularly wrestling, judo, and chess.
