Azerbaijani minister: Serbia can join TAP project

APA-Economics. A delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects of developing bilateral relations between as well as other issues of mutual interest.

Shahin Mustafayev said the two countries are cooperating in various economic areas, including energy, investment, trade, transport, and agriculture, noting that Serbia can benefit from Azerbaijan’s transit capabilities and join the TAP project.

Aleksandar Vučić in his turn said Serbia is interested to expand bilateral ties with Azerbaijan. He thanked the Azerbaijani president for his contributions to the development of Serbia-Azerbaijan relations.
