Banca Intesa, part of the Intesa Sanpaolo group, has successfully arranged and sponsored the second unsecured mini-bond issuance on the Serbian market. Zlatiborac raised 820 million dinars through mini-bonds without collateral, relying on strong financial indicators and business prospects. The bonds have a seven-year maturity, including a two-year grace period.

Banca Intesa fully subscribed to the issue, enabling Zlatiborac to finance business growth and expand production capacities. This follows a similar issuance in July by Diopta, which raised 470 million dinars for retail network expansion.

The mini-bond initiative is part of Intesa Sanpaolo’s regional strategy to provide efficient financing options for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), supporting sustainable growth and capital market development. Giuseppe Ferraro of Intesa Sanpaolo emphasized the goal to strengthen local economies through modern financing solutions.

Zlatiborac’s financial director, Danijela Resimić, highlighted the partnership as a strong endorsement of the company’s strategic plans and a sign of growing acceptance of advanced financial instruments in Serbia.
