Belex15 index falls 0.7% as key stocks show mixed performance

The Belex15, the index of the most liquid stocks on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, declined by 0.7 percent last week, closing at 1,186.9 points, Momentum Securities reported today. The total trading volume, boosted by government bonds, reached 547.8 million dinars (approximately 4.7 million euros).

Dunav Insurance shares decreased by 3.9 percent to 1,523 dinars, with a turnover of 3.5 million dinars, after previously reaching 1,600 dinars.

Messer Tehnogas shares returned to the 35,000 dinars level, trading just under two million dinars in volume.

Shares of Metalac from Upper Milan fell slightly to 2,050 dinars, with turnover amounting to 1.2 million dinars. Earlier in the week, the share price hit a new multi-year high of 2,100 dinars.

Energoprojekt Holding experienced a significant 16 percent increase, climbing to 500 dinars on a turnover of 900 million dinars. The company has scheduled an extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting for July 18. The agenda includes decisions on the sale of company assets, which may prompt shareholders to express disagreement and exercise their right to buy back shares. This buyback right can be exercised at a price of 429.6 dinars, as announced by the company.
