The Belex15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, increased by 0.5% last week, closing just under 1,195 points, according to brokerage firm Momentum Securities. Total turnover reached 55.7 million dinars, or approximately 500 million euros.
The most actively traded stock was Energoprojekt Holding, with a turnover of 18.6 million dinars. However, its share price dropped by 13.8%, ending the week at 431 dinars. Despite the decline, this price remains above the 375 dinars per share offered in a public buyout by Napred in January. Just a week earlier, the stock had been trading at 550 dinars.
Impol Seval, the aluminum rolling mill, saw 7.2 million dinars in trading volume, with shares mostly trading at 7,800 dinars. Last week, the company’s shareholders’ assembly approved a dividend of 372.5 dinars per share, primarily funded from retained earnings from previous years.
Shares of Dunav Osiguranje continued to rise, gaining 4.8% to reach 1,584 dinars, with a turnover of five million dinars. Since the start of June, the leading domestic insurance company’s shares have climbed about 13% in value.
Messer Tehnogas shares dropped by 1.1%, closing at 34,600 dinars, with turnover amounting to 3.6 million dinars.
Meanwhile, Nikola Tesla Airport shares held steady at a high of 2,200 dinars per share.
