Belgrade recently hosted the Meeting for the Planning of International Participation in the Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027, gathering over 400 delegates from 154 countries. The event demonstrated Serbia’s capability to organize major international events with professionalism, warmth, and hospitality. Delegates praised the efficient and well-coordinated organization, highlighting Serbia’s readiness to be a responsible host.
The meeting also served to strengthen international relations and showcase Serbia as a country committed to innovation, sustainability, equality, and openness. Representatives from various countries, including Ecuador and Liberia, expressed admiration for Serbia’s welcoming spirit and commitment to gender equality.
The successful meeting confirmed Serbia’s path toward delivering a memorable EXPO 2027, positioning Belgrade not only as a host city but as a hub of ambition, knowledge, and progress. The upcoming EXPO will provide a global platform for cultural exchange and offer Serbia an opportunity to reinforce its modern, inclusive identity.
