Belgrade launches incentive program for agriculture: Applications open until July 24

The Secretariat for Agriculture of the City of Belgrade has announced five public calls for the allocation of non-refundable incentives aimed at supporting the development of agriculture. The incentives are available to natural persons who are registered as holders of family farms within the territory of Belgrade.

The incentive funds will cover 80 percent of the cost of acquiring equipment, excluding VAT. The deadline for submitting applications is July 24.

In the field of agricultural mechanization, the funds can be used for the purchase of attachment machines, with a maximum of 500,000 dinars per user. A total of 144 million dinars has been allocated for this purpose. For the purchase of a tractor, users can apply for up to one million dinars, with 174 million dinars earmarked for this category.

In the area of beekeeping, funds are available for the purchase of new equipment, with a maximum of 120,000 dinars per hive. The total amount allocated for beekeeping incentives is 41 million dinars.

For animal husbandry, 118 million dinars have been set aside. Users may apply for the purchase of up to three breeding heifers, with a maximum incentive of 750,000 dinars.

In the fields of fruit growing, vegetable growing, and farming, 56 million dinars have been allocated for the purchase of new equipment.

These public calls aim to modernize agricultural practices and improve productivity among farmers in the Belgrade region.
