Belgrade Secretary of Economy Milinko Velickovic signed agreements on the allocation of financial resources to support the development of entrepreneurship in the territory of the city of Belgrade for 2020.
Velickovic said that the subsidies are non-refundable and that they are intended for the purchase of fixed assets, incentives for new employment, self-employment, training, and support for the sector engaged in innovative activities, as well as for the promotion of entrepreneurship.
Velickovic stated that the users were selected in a public competition for the allocation of funds to support the development of entrepreneurship for 2020 for the purchase of one or more fixed assets, ie machinery and equipment.
– The determined funds this year, as well as the previous ones, amount to 167 thousand euros, more precisely 8,3 thousand euros without VAT per user. The competition supported 22 business entities, of which eight are owned by women. With this competition, we want to affirm and support the development of women’s entrepreneurship and gender equality, with the goal of improving the business process – he said.
According to him, these funds will enable entrepreneurs to expand their own capacities, which will create conditions for employment of 22 unemployed persons from the records of the National Employment Service, with full-time work for a period of at least one year, eKapija writes.
