The Belex15 Index, which tracks the most liquid stocks on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, decreased by 0.3% last week, settling at 1,128.3 points, according to the brokerage house Momentum.
Total trading volume amounted to 418.5 million dinars, or 3.6 million euros.
The most actively traded stock was that of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, with a total transaction value of 15.1 million dinars, mostly at a price of 2,000 dinars per share. The airport, which is overseeing the concession process, reported a profit of 462 million dinars for 2024, up from 250.2 million dinars the previous year. This increase is largely attributed to revenues from the activities of the concessionaire investors.
The stock of “Dunav Osiguranje” saw slightly higher trading at the end of the month, with a transaction value of 8.5 million dinars and a 1% price increase to 1,376 dinars. The company recently reported “record high business results,” though no specific financial details were disclosed.
Other securities on the Belgrade Stock Exchange had significantly lower trading volumes. The price of “Philip Morris” preferred shares rose by 4.3%, reaching 9,800 dinars with a turnover of 1.6 million dinars. The price of “Tehnogas” shares fell by 2.8%, reaching 34,007 dinars with a transaction value of 1 million dinars.
The oil company NIS published its financial results for the past week, revealing a significant decline in profitability as expected. NIS recorded a consolidated profit of 10.1 billion dinars for 2024, a 77% decrease, while the profit excluding the consolidation of Petrohemija amounted to 17.7 billion dinars.
