Belgrade’s public transport company, GSP Beograd, has announced a public tender for the purchase of new solo and articulated buses through financial leasing. The total value of the procurement amounts to 7.8 billion dinars (around 66.6 million euros), and bidders have until November 24 to submit their offers.

According to the public procurement portal, the tender was officially published on Tuesday, November 4. The procurement process is divided into two lots, meaning that bidders can choose to apply for one or both parts of the contract.

The first lot covers the purchase of solo buses, with an estimated value of 3.7 billion dinars, while the second lot pertains to articulated buses, valued at 4.1 billion dinars. In both cases, the purchase will be conducted through financial leasing.

All buses must be of the same make and model, produced in serial production, and completely new—defined as unused vehicles manufactured in 2025 or 2026—according to the technical documentation.

The maximum delivery period for the buses is 290 days from the date the public procurement contract enters into force.

If there are no appeals or procedural delays, and the contract is signed shortly after the bid submission deadline, the new buses could be introduced to Belgrade’s streets before the end of 2026.
