The Belgrade Commercial Court has ruled that “Hotel Golden Hill”, previously known as Hotel Šumadija, will enter bankruptcy due to its inability to pay its debts. The decision was made following a request to initiate the procedure, citing the hotel’s prolonged financial troubles.

The court’s decision, published on the website of the Bankruptcy Trustees Licensing Agency, highlights that the hotel has been under continuous financial blockage since May 27, 2019. As a result, it was proposed that bankruptcy proceedings be opened. The document further reveals that the hotel currently has no employees and that its only asset, a real estate property, is leased.
