For the third year in a row, Dana Holdings, which operates within the BK Group, has been named one of the top 100 companies in the world.
This award, given by the prestigious British magazine “World Finance” on behalf of the BK Group at the World Economic Forum, was received by Dragomir J. Karic in Davos.
At the 50th Jubilee Summit, at which, among others, Donald Trump, US President, Angela Merkel, Aleksandar Vucic, President of Serbia, and Antonio Guteres, the Secretary-General of the UN, in addition to Dana Holdings among the biggest names in the business world, this time included Samsung, Apple, Rio Tinto, Hitachi, Nike and Nordex.
Famous companies such as Alibaba, Amazon, Bayer, Mastercard, Varta and IBM lost their place in the list of best.
“As always, Karic family is present where they are best. Our big projects around the world have drawn a lot of attention from the biggest businessmen and presidents. Serbia, dare I say it today, is a tiger in Southeast Europe led by President Aleksandar Vucic and corporations like the BK Group, founded by Bogoljub Karic, and where the youngest generations of Karic already work. The construction is guided by high standards and innovative technology, that is, everything that is necessary for the life and creation of a modern man not for the 21st century but for the 22nd century”, said Dragomir J. Karic while BK Group press service reports.
The BK Group was also awarded the “Biggest multi-functional complex”. Minsk World is the largest construction project in Europe of three and a half million square meters and is a “city in a city”, with 400,000 people living and working there. Simon Karic received the award for which Nebojša Karic was proclaimed the best CEO, or the best CEO in the world, in the blast of the construction industry, Danas writes.
