Brnabic and the British Minister on the implementation of the Green Agenda

Today, Prime Minister Ana Brnabić talked with the Minister of State for Energy, Environmental Development and Climate Change in the United Kingdom, Greg Hands, about strengthening bilateral cooperation, implementing the Green Agenda and cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy and energy transition.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the green transition is extremely important, both for setting environmental standards in Serbia, preserving the environment and quality of life, and for encouraging investment and innovation and further development of the economy in our country, said the Government Office for Cooperation with the Media.

According to Brnabic, one of Serbia’s priorities is strategic investment and finding sustainable solutions for achieving energy stability through green energy, and in that sense, she expressed confidence that there is great potential for cooperation with the United Kingdom.

Considering that Great Britain is achieving extraordinary results in the field of energy and the Desired Agenda, Minister of State Hands pointed out that his country is ready to support Serbia in this sphere and transfer its experiences through joint projects.

The Prime Minister said that Serbia highly appreciates the readiness of Great Britain to actively support Serbia in this important issue and provide concrete assistance in the field of joint programs and projects in order to support the planning and development of the Green Agenda of both countries.

The interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to use all potentials for further development of economic and bilateral cooperation between the two countries, Blic reports.
