Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said at the Investment Summit on the Western Balkans that Serbia is one of the most interesting destinations in Europe for investors, and especially, as she said, for investors considering investments in research and development, artificial intelligence and similar fields. the right time to invest in Serbia “.

Brnabic, who is participating in the summit organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) via video link, reminded that the elections in Serbia will be held “practically in a month” and that she is the “outgoing Prime Minister”.

“But the level of stability in Serbia will not change and I think it is the right time to invest in Serbia,” Brnabic emphasized.

“Serbia is doing well – the Financial Times has declared us the champion in attracting investments twice in five years, and during the pandemic, our GDP fell by only 0.9 percent. “GDP growth in 2021 was 7.6 percent with a record high investment of 3.9 billion euros,” Brnabic said, addressing EBRD leaders and prime ministers and ministers from the Western Balkans.

She emphasized that Serbia is very committed to regional cooperation and building a better and more prosperous region.

“Regional stability is our second priority, and the first is EU membership,” Brnabic said.
