The city of Čačak collected 3.16 billion dinars in budget revenues during the first half of 2025, representing 47.28% of the planned annual budget of 6.71 billion dinars, stated Deputy Mayor Vladan Milić.
Expenditures for the January-June period amounted to 3.98 billion dinars, or 46.13% of the yearly plan.
The largest source of revenue came from income taxes, totaling 1.64 billion dinars in the first six months.
Milić emphasized that the budget remains stable and the city is successfully implementing its planned activities for the year. He added that the second half of the year is typically more intensive in terms of revenue collection.
Čačak recorded a budget surplus of 96.3 million dinars in the first half of 2025, which was described as very positive.
