Mount Zlatibor, as well as the municipality of Čajetina, have been highly attractive to investors for many years due to the popularity of these destinations among a large number of tourists. The municipality of Čajetina has now announced the sale of 20 plots of land in Zlatibor and one in Čajetina through a public offer.
“The plots range in size from 494 square meters to 42,658 square meters. They are being offered at starting prices from 13.8 million to more than 742.2 million dinars. Offers will be opened on March 28,” it was confirmed to RINA.
However, despite frequent negative comments claiming that Zlatibor has become overly urbanized and turned into a construction site, it is interesting to note that more than 70% of Serbian citizens are unaware that only 1.5% of Zlatibor has been urbanized, while the remaining 98.5% of the mountain is covered by forests and pastures, according to RINA.
