In Vojvodina, the overall price increase for catering services was 6.3%, which is lower than the national average. According to the Republic Statistical Office (RZS), prices in hotels and restaurants in May were 10.0% higher compared to the same month last year. Food prices rose by 11.4%, with the largest increases in salads (14.2%) and bread (14.0%). Prices for hot and cold appetizers increased by 10.0%, ready meals by 11.3%, and baked goods and made-to-order meals by 11.0%.
Alcoholic beverages became 12.9% more expensive, while non-alcoholic beverages saw a 13.4% increase.
Accommodation prices had the smallest rise, increasing by just 0.3%.
In Vojvodina specifically, the total price increase for catering services was 6.3%, with food prices rising 6.2%, alcoholic beverages 7.5%, and non-alcoholic beverages 7.1%.
