Catering service prices in Serbia rise by 10.9% in April

According to the latest data from the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS), prices for catering services in Serbia saw an increase of 10.9% in April compared to the same month in 2024.

When comparing the first four months of this year with the same period last year, the price increase in the catering sector amounts to 12.1%.

Breaking down the price changes by category, the largest increase in April was observed in salads, which rose by 15.9% year-over-year. Bread prices surged by 14.5%, while stews and cakes saw a 12.7% increase. Roasts and meals made to order were 12% more expensive.

Hot and cold appetizers experienced an 11.4% price hike, and ready meals increased by 10.8%. Soft drinks saw a notable 14.6% price increase, while non-alcoholic beverages rose by 13.3%.
