Trading activity on the commodities market increased compared to the previous week. The total turnover through the Product Exchange reached 5,495 tons of goods, with a financial value of 206,177,600 dinars. Feed barley dominated trading, accounting for 36 percent of the total weekly turnover.
On the corn market, activity was mostly on the supply side, while buyer interest remained weak. Exchange contracts were concluded at prices ranging from 26.30 to 27.50 dinars per kilogram without VAT. The weighted average price was 27.09 din/kg without VAT (29.80 din/kg with VAT), marking a 2.12 percent increase compared to the previous week. If weather conditions remain favorable, the first quantities of the new crop are expected in 10–15 days, which may reduce interest in old crop corn.
The wheat market showed increased demand, particularly for wheat with 11–12 percent protein content. A mismatch in delivery terms between buyers, who preferred up to 30-day pickup, and sellers, who wanted immediate collection, limited trading volume. Prices ranged from 20.20 to 21.20 din/kg without VAT, with a weighted price of 20.59 din/kg without VAT (22.65 din/kg with VAT), remaining largely stable (-0.03 percent).
Soybean supply was priced between 52.50 and 54.00 din/kg without VAT, depending on quality, but extremely weak demand meant no trades were made. The feed barley market remained calm until the end of the week, when demand increased. Prices ranged from 20.20 to 20.50 din/kg without VAT, with a weighted price of 20.47 din/kg without VAT (22.52 din/kg with VAT), reflecting a 0.67 percent increase from the previous week.
