The work on Patriarch Pavle Boulevard in Rakovica, which has been delayed since 2018, is now set to be completed, with a tender worth 2.27 billion dinars excluding VAT. Several companies have been awarded the contract for the completion of the remaining work on this section.
A consortium of companies, including Geo-projekt SM, GP Graditelj NS, Ras inženjering, DCEnergocoop, Eco construction, Mašinokop, Novkol AD, and West gradnja, will carry out the works. They have 360 days from the start of the project to complete it, with a two-year guarantee period for the work performed.
Mašinokop will take on the majority of the work, including road construction, atmospheric sewage, greening, retaining walls, water supply, fecal sewage, a pumping station, and the arrangement of the Topčider riverbed. Ras inženjering will focus on road construction, a tramway underpass, and a two-track railway. Eco construction will handle the reconstruction of the tram underpass, storm sewers, and bridge demolition. GP Graditelj will work on storm sewers, bridge and tram underpass construction, and greening.
Novkol AD will be responsible for bridge construction and some work on the tramway underpass, while West gradnja will also handle part of the bridge construction.
The reconstruction was halted in the past due to disputes over bidder rights, leading to delays and increased costs, partly due to rising construction material prices, as stated by Belgrade’s mayor, Aleksandar Šapić.
