Consumer Group Efektiva calls for boycott of Lidl over high prices

The Consumer Protection Association Efektiva has called on citizens in Serbia to refrain from shopping at Lidl until March 16th, in protest against high prices, particularly food prices.

Last week, protests targeted Mercator stores, and the week before that, markets operating under the Delhaize retail chain were boycotted.

The boycott of individual chains followed a one-day and then a five-day boycott of the five largest retail chains – Delhaize, Mercator, Lidl, Univerexport and Dis.
