Companies from Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia are expected to work together on the modernisation of 149 tanks made in former Yugoslavia and currently owned by Kuwait, the daily 24 Sata writes.

Serbia is expected to sign the agreement that would include the overhaul of the tanks with Kuwait. The project is estimated to be worth some 282 million Euros.

The modernisation of Kuwaiti weapons would thus be the first result of the three countries’ negotiations about joint ventures on foreign markets, the daily writes.
