The “14. Oktobar” factory in Kruševac, employing around 370 workers, has been part of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) for eight years. CSG is investing €25 million to modernize and expand the plant’s production capacities, improve technology, and boost energy efficiency.

Of the total investment, €5 million will go toward constructing new facilities, while €20 million will fund advanced equipment. A new automated forging plant will be added to the existing infrastructure without replacing it. The upgrade will enhance productivity, workplace safety, and sustainability.

Phase one, running until October 2026, includes building a modern forging hall, open and covered warehouses, and infrastructure for waste management. Construction is set to begin in Q3 2025.

General Director Petar Miljković stated that the investment aims to bring the plant to global production standards, with 35% of output continuing to serve Serbia’s defense sector, including the production of 155 mm caliber ammunition. This will strengthen the Serbian Army’s capabilities and maintain competitiveness despite restrictions on military exports.

Projected revenues for the plant are €30 million in 2025, growing to €42 million in 2026 and €70 million by 2027, along with 50 new jobs.
