In 2021, there was a 65 percent increase in demand for candidates in the IT sector in Serbia compared to the previous year, the HelloWorld.rs website announced today, as reported by Tanjug

Last year, 11.5 thousand positions were available to IT experts on that site, while in 2020, there were slightly less than 7,000 advertised ads.

“Despite this trend, there is still a deficit of IT candidates on the domestic labor market,” the site said.

IT people most often look for a job on employment sites, LinkedIN and company sites, and then through the recommendations of friends, as well as through social networks.

The research “Pulse of the Serbian IT community” conducted by the site HelloWorld.rs showed that the most important thing for the benefit of the employer for IT people is flexible working hours.

This is followed by work from home and the possibility of constant improvement through education and training.

The top list of benefits then includes private health insurance, and rewards and bonuses, Politika reports.
