The domestic stock market saw a slight increase last week, with a noticeable rise in activity after a long period of relatively low trading volumes.
The Belex15 index ended the week at 1,144.2 points, while the total market turnover reached 284.7 million dinars (2.4 million euros). The most traded stock was Impol Seval (IMPL), which saw a turnover of 16.7 million dinars, mostly in a single transaction priced at 7,750 dinars. Impol’s stock gained around 30 percent in value last year, despite a correction in the last quarter following the company’s announcement of a loss for the first half of the year, according to brokers from Momentum Securities.
Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) continued its positive streak with one of the strongest trading weeks, achieving a turnover of 15.5 million dinars. The stock of the largest domestic insurance company rose by 0.8 percent to 1,502 dinars, and throughout most of the week, there was unmet demand at the 1,500 dinar level.
The stock of Nikola Tesla Airport (AERO) recorded a more tangible turnover after a long period of low activity, with a slight price increase to 1,989 dinars. The total turnover for this stock amounted to 4.1 million dinars. The rest of the market saw significantly lower trading volumes.
Priority shares of Philip Morris (DINNPB), which have been trading without dividend rights since the beginning of the year, slightly weakened to 9,601 dinars with a turnover of 0.9 million dinars. Metalac’s (MTLC) stock remained steady at 1,950 dinars, with a turnover of 0.6 million dinars.
