The Consumer Protection Association “Efektiva” has called on consumers in Serbia to boycott another trade chain, Univerexport, from today until Sunday, March 23.
“Efektiva” urged consumers not to shop at the retail chain during this week.
In a post on social networks, “Efektiva” also called for a boycott of JYSK company stores this week.
“We invite you not to shop at JYSK starting this week either.” We already had a post in which we showed that this company increased the price of blankets, from 650 to 1,000 dinars. We suspected that the reason for this was the increased purchase of blankets, bed linen, pillows, due to the needs of students,” they stated from “Efektiva” on social networks and announced that today they will explain the reasons and present JYSK’s explanation.
In the past three weeks, there have been calls for a boycott of three retail chains. In the first week, Delhaize stores, including Maxi and Shop&Go, were boycotted, followed by Mercator stores, and last week it was Lidl.
