Workers at the “Elrad” factory in Vlasotince canceled a planned general strike after the company management agreed to all their demands.
Employees had raised concerns over unrealistic production targets, a revised work rule requiring 95% of quotas, and weekend pay being treated as regular workdays. Initial negotiations had failed, prompting a warning strike earlier this week.
After further discussions led by union representatives, the management accepted all demands, including scrapping the disputed work regulations. Both sides agreed to address future issues through dialogue and compromise.
