The European Union Delegation in Serbia has announced a tender for the development and execution of rehabilitation works on a 20-kilometer section of state road IB 21, from Valjevo bypass to Kaona Kosjerić (km 153+200 to km 173+200).
The project, ordered by the public company Putevi Srbije, is valued at approximately EUR 15 million (excluding VAT) and is financed by the European Investment Bank.
Planned works include demolition of existing road elements, construction and expansion of the pavement and roadway structure, installation of concrete curbs and gutters, bridge repairs, drainage improvements, stabilization of slopes, roadside landscaping, and traffic signal installation.
The tender is open until September 4. The reconstruction was initially announced by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during his June visit to Kosjerić.
