The European Commission is looking for a solution that will protect the import of oil to Serbia, after the announcement of the Adriatic Oil Pipeline (JANAF) that it will no longer deliver that fuel to the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) due to EU sanctions against Russia.
“Any decision to extend or extend sanctions is taken by the European Council unanimously. We are looking for a solution that will protect the import of oil to Serbia, “the European Commission stated in a written answer to the question of Radio Free Europe.
The Adriatic Oil Pipeline (JANAF), whose headquarters are in Zagreb, announced on March 29 that the EU regulation of March 15 affects the agreement that the company concluded with the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), which is valid until December 2022.
