The building at Kralja Milana 5, which will house the future headquarters of EXPO 2027, is set to receive 119 signs, including a prominent exterior board with the company’s logo. These signs will be manufactured by the company “Moon Design” for a total cost of 3,346,000 dinars (approximately 28,600 euros).

The EXPO 2027 company, which is the buyer, had estimated the cost of procuring the signs at 3.5 million dinars, making the final purchase price nearly identical to the initial estimate.

According to EXPO 2027, these 119 signs will be used for marking floors, offices, meeting rooms, and more within the building. The exterior sign, made of clearite with LED lighting, will feature the official logo and will be 200 cm in width and 100 cm in height. In addition to manufacturing the signs, the supplier will also provide sandblasting foils and design services for the project.

This procurement follows a special public procedure in line with the Law on Special Procedures for the Implementation of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027. This legislation allows EXPO 2027 to bypass the usual public procurement obligations.

Three companies were invited to submit bids, including “Moon Design,” which ultimately won the contract. The other companies that received the invitation were “Epic Software Solutions” and “Grafik Centar.” However, only “Moon Design” responded to the call.

“Moon Design” was founded just two months before the contract was awarded, in November 2024, and is jointly owned by Milan Đurov and Kristina Bogdanović, each holding a 50% stake. The company does not have an official website and has not yet worked with state-owned companies.

Meanwhile, the new headquarters of EXPO 2027 at Kralja Milana 5 is undergoing extensive renovations. These works, approved in March 2024, include replacing the facade carpentry, installing new thermal insulation on the roof, updating the heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, and overhauling electrical installations. The renovations officially began on May 17, 2024, and are expected to be completed by May 7, 2025, with an estimated value of 7.3 million euros (excluding VAT).

The building is owned by the state, with the right of use currently held by Slavija banka in bankruptcy. EXPO 2027’s current address is Bulevar vojvoda Bojovića 6, located in the “MPP Kalemegdan Business Center,” owned by “Marera Coworking,” a subsidiary of “Marera Properties,” controlled by Vladimir Zubrilin from Malta.
