“Expo Russia-Serbia 2022” from March 16 to 18 in Belgrade

The sixth international economic exhibition “Expo Russia Serbia 2022” and the sixth Belgrade Business Forum will be held from March 16 to 18, 2022 at the Congress Center “Metropol Palace” in Belgrade.

The exhibition will be attended by companies of large, medium and small business, and will also present regional expositions of the republics, regions and territories of Russia, companies from Serbia and other countries of Southeast Europe.

Thematic units: energy and energy saving technologies, mining, mechanical engineering and metallurgy, aircraft and railway transport, agro-industrial complexes, construction, oil and gas industry, high-tech industries, banking, telecommunications, medicine, pharmacy, education and science, tourism, including medicine, consumer goods and more.

During the exhibition, there will be a “Business Contacts Exchange”, presentations of Russian and Serbian companies, thematic round tables, which will be organized in cooperation with the ministries of the Republic of Serbia and in which business leaders of Balkan countries will participate.

The arrival of business delegations from neighboring countries is also expected: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and possibly from Albania and Northern Macedonia.

Five previous international business exhibitions have been held with great success. More than 20,000 people visited the stands of Russian companies. During the exhibitions in Belgrade, more than three hundred export contracts were signed.

The Sixth International Economic Exhibition “Expo Russia Serbia 2022” and the Sixth Belgrade Business Forum were organized by the Russian company “Zarubez Expo” and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the State Duma and the Federation Council. Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Trade of Russia, Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Embassy and Trade Representation of Russia in Serbia, Embassy of Serbia in Russia, Soviet Peace Fund, Russian Organization “Business Russia”, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Russian Center for Science and Culture in Belgrade, the “Russian House”, as well as the ministries of other Balkan countries.

In the Protocol of the XIX session of the Intergovernmental Russian-Serbian Committee for Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, which was held 6-7. October last year on Zlatibor, Serbia, it is stated: “The parties supported the initiative to hold the Sixth International Russian-Serbian Economic Exhibition” Expo Russia Serbia 2022 “and the Belgrade Business Forum on March 16-18, 2022 in Belgrade.”

The aim of the exhibition is to expand trade and economic relations between Russia and Serbia in the context of the Free Trade Agreement between the countries and to intensify trade operations with other countries in the region, Nova Ekonomija reports.
