The Government of Serbia has adopted a decree establishing a program to stimulate regional and local development in 2020 with 350.000 euros.
This money is allegedly intended for co-financing the annual membership fee of local self-government units for the work and business of accredited regional development agencies.
Local government units of the third and fourth development groups, that is, devastated areas and local governments from Kosovo, who have paid annual membership fees for the work and business of regional development agencies, have the right to apply for funds.
The application deadline with supporting documentation is October 5, 2020.
Co-financing of the membership fee is done depending on the level of development of the local self-government unit, and can be in the amount of 25, 50 or 75 percent.
The program is implemented by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Serbian Development Agency, Nova Ekonomija writes.
