– Complete procedure must be transparent and new copper mines will be opened on the basis of the principle of a joint investment with Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) Bor – he added.

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy also said that total debts of RTB Bor exceeded 500 million euros, but he also pointed out that the major share of those obligations were from the 1980’s and 1990’s.

– One of the models we are considering is conversion of the state debts, which represent 75% of overall claims, into the capital of RTB Bor – Ciric emphasized.
