Natural persons earning income from agreed work remuneration and copyright-related rights, taxed through self-assessment—commonly known as freelancers—must submit their tax returns for the first quarter of this year by April 30.
The Tax Administration warns that failing to submit the return on time results in interest charges and potential misdemeanors.
Freelancers can file electronically via the Freelancer Portal, use the PP OPO-K form through the ePorezi portal, or submit the form in paper—either directly or by mail—to their local Tax Administration office.
The filing window opened on April 1, and the authorities encourage timely submissions to avoid penalties.
