French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro has said that a French airline is interested in the process of privatising the Nikola Tesla Airport.
Moro on Monday met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic, who welcomed the interest in the privatisation of the profitable Serbian airport, adding that more details that will define a planned international tender will become known once a consultancy company issues its recommendations, said a statement from Mihajlovic’s ministry.
“It must be an internationally renowned consultancy company with experience in affairs of this type,” Mihajlovic said, adding that Serbia and France have a large potential for cooperation that they can develop.
At the meeting with Mihajlovic, Moro introduced the new economic adviser at the French embassy, Jean-Pierre Gastaud, who will be working towards boosting the economic ties between the two countries.
